This piece combines pine needles with gourd. Along with the middle edge there is a nicely
designed pine needle rim and lip, with connect top with bottom. There is also a very intricate
four pointed arrowheads pattern weaved from artificial sinew. This basket went very quickly
to a private collection.

This gourd has been transformed from simple to extravagant with a little time, some sinew, and some pine needles. Mary

This gourd/pine needle hybrid, has very nice character to it. It also has two wolf effigies, which
have been created by simply removing a layer of the gourds skin. This is a very simple, but
effective technique Mary has developed, and has begun incorporating into some of her newer pieces.
