Need a billet, pressure flaker, slabbed material, spalls, or
small pressure flaking material? This is where you need to
be. From copper billets to beeswax, this is where you will
find what you need for knapping.
Curious how these guys got started in knapping, what tools
they use, or just have some extra time to do some reading.
The knappers page will tell you probably more than you
want to know about the kentuckyknappers.com creatures.
Have questions about a point, product, Ronnie, Justin, or
simply have a knapping question? This page will tell you
how to contact Ronnie, Justin, or the webmaster with your
questions and, hopefully, your orders.
Love points, but Love baskets even more?! This page will give some
information on Kentucky native Mary Hazlett, a basket maker, who is
quickly on the move to becoming quite the artist. Her newest creations
rival those of the famed Jeannie McFarland and Jane Espinoza.

Here is a very unique piece of gourd artwork by master gourd carver and
pyrography artist, Percy Medina. To describe its beauty and quality of craftsmanship
is impossible. He has combined gourd carving, burning and impression work to make
a one of a kind piece for Kentuckyknappers.com. The pictures below show several
different angled shots of the same piece. Thanks Percy for this wonderful piece of
artwork!
This is the second craftsman to make a unique piece for Kentuckyknappers.com;
some of you might remember the wonderful leather canteen made my Jim Knower that
was pictured several months ago (click here to see the canteen by Jim Knower).
We would Love to hear your feedback on Percy work at rjh2@kentuckyknappers.com
